HeilbronnOpen – three years in succession best ATP Hall Challenger Tournament

All good things come in threes: In 2000, 2001, and 2002 Uli Eimüllner, director of the HeilbronnOpen – powered by FPT – tournament, was awarded for the “Best Challenger Hall Tournament of the World”.
Three years in succession the tennis event at the “Rauhen Stich” was on top of the ranking list of Hall-Challenger and stood up to all other tournaments. 2001 the HeilbronnOpen even reached place one on the world ranking list, consisting of 134 open air and hall tournaments worldwide.
The “Award-Hattrick” of course meant incitation and commitment at the same time, to go on writing the successful history of the tournament. Continuous new ideas and inspirations should make the tournament more and more attractive for spectators as well as players.
Important companions on this way were and will be the sponsors, who create the financial scope and with their helpful suggestions give new impetus to the tournament. Also the competent and enthusiastic public at Talheim has a large part in the success of the sportive and social highlight of the Heilbronn-Franken region: They guarantee the unique atmosphere and convey the feeling of being heartily welcome to the players.
The tennis professionals from all over the world each year confirm once more that the HeilbronnOpen are a special event in an overflowing appointment book. For a smooth organization a motivated and competent team works backstage. Optimally trained referees and linesmen as well as dedicated journalists, who care for a great publicity with a good media coverage, crown the tournament with success.
Even after the termination of the Award the HeilbronnOpen are still one of the Top Challenger of the ATP aiming high to be at the top for the future.
